Afghanistan Journal

From February 5th to the 21st I was in Kabul performing in all sorts of different venues including drug rehab centers, schools, and on National TV for millions of Afghans in Afghanistan and around the world. My old friend Najibullah Sedeqe was the key to my success finding me a driver, hotel, and even providing me his 17 year old son 
Serat as my translator. Many of the concert arrangements were made by him as well as by my friend Asita Ferdous director of gender issues at the municipality of Kabul and Niazi who works in Washington DC for the Afghan NGO WADAN.
